Make it your resolution to put your hair first

The start of a new year is a good time to look at ways we can boost our health and mood.
For many of us, our hair is at the root (excuse the pun!) of feeling good about ourselves.
Hair loss is a topic that many shy away from talking about, but it is a far more common
problem than many of us realise. From medical conditions like alopecia and female pattern
baldness, the effect of chemotherapy treatment, to stress, vitamin deficiencies, diet and
hormonal changes including post-pregnancy. There are many reasons behind thinning hair,
hair loss and bald patches.

Molly says, “Don’t be shy come share your worries with me in a reassuring environment.”

Here at The Hair Extension Cave, I see women from 16 to 80 years or more with hair loss.
On average, the majority of my clients are aged from 35 to 60 and whatever the problem
and however bad it feels, I am able to create an individual hair loss system solution that
works – it’s practical, affordable and gives them their confidence back instantly.
Hair loss is a major contributor to our self-esteem. Feeling like ‘the odd one out’ and self-
conscious about our hair is bound to impact our mental health. Simply by speaking to a hair
professional who sees the problem everyday will be the first step to regaining your self-
confidence and feeling the best version of yourself.

Worrying about how our hair looks is not vanity and neither is considering a hair loss
extension system or perhaps a great wig. The world of hair loss and finding a solution for
you is out there, but you need to find the person who understands exactly how to create
something that works for you as an individual.

Molly says, “I am always ready to listen and give you hair that will make you feel ready to
embrace 2024 with your head held high.”

General tips for good hair health

The good news is that things we can all try to improve the growth of our hair and look after what we
have.

Here are five practical things to help manage thinning hair:
1. Avoid hairstyles that pull on the hair.
2. Avoid over-using high-heat hair styling tools. Always use heat protection spray.
3.  Sleep with a silk pillowcase and never go to bed with wet hair.
4. Use a shampoo and conditioner that’s mild and suited for your hair or hair extensions
5. Use a tangle teaser or a soft bristle brush.

Three remedies you could try:
1. Scalp massages with a silicone scalp massager to stimulate the hair follicle and a good biotin
serum.
2. Biotin and caffeine shampoo and conditioner.
3. Taking vitamin supplements like hair gummies that contain 5000mg of Biotin.
